1 liten knippe finhackad koriander
1 ägg
2 dl krossade tortillachips
2 dl riven cheddarost

Kvinnor jagar hormonplåster – apotekens hyllor gapar tomma
POWERFUL HEALING PRAYER ATTRIBUTED TO SAINT PADRE PIO Heavenly Father, I thank You for loving me. I thank You for sending Your Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, to the world to save and to set me free. I trust in Your power and grace that sustain and restore me. Loving Father, touch me now with Your healing hands, for I believe that Your will is for me to be well in mind, body, soul and spirit. Cover me with the most precious blood of Your Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. Cast out anything that should not be in me. Root out any unhealthy and abnormal cells. Open any blocked arteries or veins and rebuild and replenish any damaged areas. Remove all inflammation and cleanse any infection by the power of Jesus’ precious blood. Let the fire of Your healing love pass through my entire body to heal and make new any diseased areas so that my body will function the way You created it to function. Touch also my mind and my emotion, even the deepest recesses of my heart. Saturate my entire being with Your presence, love, joy and peace and draw me ever closer to You every moment of my life. And Father, fill me with Your Holy Spirit and empower me to do Your works so that my life will bring glory and honour to Your holy name. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.“Jesus is always with you, even when you don’t feel his presence. He is never so close to you as he is during your spiritual battles.” – Saint Padre Pio

May the Heart of Jesus, in the Most Blessed Sacrament, be praised, adored, and loved with grateful affection, at every moment, in all the tabernacles of the world, even to the end of time. Amen
I don’t know who needs this but,.. In a world blinded by noise, distraction, and despair, this image, reminds us of a powerful truth: Jesus still stops in the middle of the chaos. He doesn’t rush past the hurting. He leans in close, places His hand on the man’s eyes, and restores what was lost. What was darkness becomes light. What was limitation becomes possibility. Today, many of us walk through life spiritually or emotionally blind, blinded by anxiety, past wounds, toxic voices, financial pressure, broken relationships, or the constant scroll on the internet, that steals our peace. We feel stuck, unable to see the way forward. Yet the same Jesus who healed this man is present right now. He sees your tears. He knows the areas of your life that feel darkened. And He is still in the business of touching what’s broken and saying, “See.” Today, Let this image be your encouragement : No matter how long you’ve carried the weight, no matter how impossible the situation looks, bring it to Him. Lay down your blindness. Let Him touch the very place that hurts the most. Healing may not always be instant, but it is always intimate. He meets you where you are, with compassion and power, ready to open your eyes to new hope, new purpose, and new life. “Lord, touch our eyes today. Let us see clearly, not just with our physical sight, but with eyes of faith, courage, and love. ”You are not too far gone. The Healer is near. JESUS, THE HEALER IS CLOSER THAN YOU THINK!
Come, let us return to the Lord, For it is he who has torn, but he will heal us; he has struck down, but he will bind our wounds.

THE BIBLE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT BOOK IN HISTORY I do not say this lightly. I say it with conviction rooted in the faith of the Church. The Bible is the most important book in human history because it is not merely a book about God. It is God speaking to man. The Second Vatican Council teaches that Sacred Scripture is inspired by the Holy Spirit, meaning that God is the principal Author while human writers truly wrote as instruments in His hands. This makes the Bible unique among all books ever written. No other text in history carries divine authorship. No other text carries eternal authority. No other text reveals salvation history in its fullness. And no other text leads us so directly to Jesus Christ. At its heart, the Bible is not a collection of moral lessons. It is not merely ancient wisdom. It is not just religious history. It is one unified revelation: God revealing Himself to save humanity. From the first pages of Genesis to the final vision of Revelation, one story unfolds: God creating man in love. Man falling through sin. God seeking man after the fall. God forming a covenant people. God sending prophets. God preparing the world for redemption. And finally, God Himself entering history in Jesus Christ. This is why I have come to understand something deeply: The Bible is not primarily the story of man searching for God. It is the story of God refusing to lose man. At the center of Sacred Scripture stands Jesus Christ. Everything converges on Him. Everything finds meaning in Him. Everything is fulfilled in Him. This is why Jesus says: “You search the Scriptures… and it is they that bear witness to Me.” (John 5:39) The entire Bible is Christological in structure. The Old Testament prepares for Him. The Gospels reveal Him. The Acts of the Apostles continue His mission through the Church. The Epistles explain His life in us. The Book of Revelation proclaims His final victory. To read Scripture without Christ is to read it incompletely. But there is a deeper truth many overlook: The Bible is not only about Christ. It is meant to lead us into communion with Christ. This is where Catholic understanding becomes essential. Because Scripture does not exist apart from the Church that received it, preserved it, and faithfully interprets it under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The Bible did not fall from heaven as a bound book. It was formed within the life of the Church. The same Church that gave us the canon of Scripture is the Church that continues to proclaim it at every Holy Mass. And here something profoundly beautiful happens: At Mass, God speaks His Word to His people. Then He gives His Word not only to be heard, but to be received. In the proclamation of Scripture, Christ speaks. In the Eucharist, Christ gives Himself. The Word proclaimed and the Word made flesh are never separated. This is why the Church has always held Scripture with the highest reverence. As Saint Jerome said: “Ignorance of Scripture is ignorance of Christ.” But the saints did not love Scripture only because it informs the mind. They loved it because it transforms the soul. Saint Augustine discovered in Scripture the voice that pierced his heart and called him out of darkness. Saint Thérèse of Lisieux found in the Gospels the simplicity of divine love. Saint John Paul II constantly urged the faithful to “take up and read” the Word of God daily. Why? Because the Word of God is not dead ink on a page. It is living truth that penetrates the soul. As Hebrews teaches: “The word of God is living and active, sharper than any two edged sword.” (Hebrews 4:12) When read with faith, Scripture does not merely inform us about God. It forms us into the likeness of Christ. It corrects us when we are wrong. It strengthens us when we are weak. It convicts us when we are far. It consoles us when we suffer. It awakens us when we are spiritually asleep. But perhaps the most important truth is this: The Bible does not replace God’s presence. It leads us into it. This is why Catholics do not treat Scripture as a private interpretation isolated from the life of the Church, but as a sacred treasure entrusted to the whole Body of Christ. Because the same Holy Spirit who inspired the Scriptures also protects their authentic interpretation in the Church. And when the Word is received rightly, it becomes food for the soul. Not symbolic food. Not abstract truth. But spiritual nourishment that leads to eternal life. This is why the psalmist says: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105) Without light, man walks in darkness. Without the Word, man loses direction. Without God’s revelation, man begins to redefine truth according to his own desires. And history shows where that leads. But when the Word of God is placed at the center of life, everything begins to realign: The mind is renewed. The heart is purified. The will is strengthened. The soul is directed toward heaven. Empires have fallen. Philosophies have changed. Books have been forgotten. But the Word of God remains. As Isaiah declares: “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever.” (Isaiah 40:8) This is why I can say with certainty: The Bible is the most important book in history. Not because it is ancient. Not because it is influential. Not because it is widely respected. But because it is the living revelation of God that leads us to Jesus Christ and into eternal life. And in the end, no book is more important than the one that reveals the way to salvation. Because truth is not merely something we read. Truth is Someone we encounter. Lord, form in me a deep love for Your Word. Let Scripture not remain on my shelf but take root in my heart. Through Your Word, draw me into deeper union with Jesus Christ, until my life reflects what I read and what I believe. Amen. The Bible is the most important book in history because it reveals the most important truth in history: God has spoken, and He has come to save us in Jesus Christ.
Belonging Entirely to God 1. Willing or unwilling, we belong entirely to God. God created us from nothing, and all that we have is His – soul and body, material and spiritual gifts, and the world in which we live. God has given us everything, and at any moment He can take away the life which He gave us. It is useless, indeed senseless, to rebel against Him or to try and release ourselves from His absolute dominion. Admittedly, He has given us free will and we can disobey and offend Him, but even if we do so we still belong completely to God and He has absolute power over us. He has created us for Himself alone, for He is the final goal of all things. We can never escape from His authority. Do we rebel and hurl towards God the cry of Satan: “I will not serve”? Even if we do, whether we are in sin or in the depths of hell we still belong to Him. We shall have to bear eternal witness to His infinite love and mercy, as well as to His infinite justice. We have been created for God’s glory, and God is glorified both in His goodness and in His justice. We should meditate deeply on this tremendous concept. How much better it is for us to belong wholly to God in love and in obedience than in the chastisement of His justice. How much better it is to obey and serve Him as our Sovereign Lord, to honour Him as our Father, and to love Him as the Spouse of our souls. All our thoughts and desires should, therefore, be directed to Him and all our plans and actions should be offered to Him. If we are attached to worldly possessions and persons, if we are vain and ambitious, and if we yield to our passionate inclinations, our hearts do not belong completely to God. We are guilty of theft if we do not offer our hearts entirely to God, because they are entirely His. Moreover, we do ourselves a grave injury, because we can find nothing but disillusionment in the love of creatures and in the satisfaction of our senses. God alone can fully satisfy our hearts, which were made for Him alone. 2. Let us reflect on the extent to which God is deserving of all our love. He is our Creator, our final end, and our Redeemer. Jesus was not satisfied with giving us part of Himself, but He gave us Himself completely. Although as God He was infinite, He could not have given us more. One drop of His blood or a solitary tear would have sufficed to redeem us from our sins. But He shed His blood to the last drop and gave His life for us. Better still, He willed to remain amongst us in the Sacrament of the Eucharist as our constant spiritual nourishment. 3. What more could He have done in order to merit our love? If He has loved us as much as to give us Himself completely, why are we grudging in our relations with Him? Why do we share our hearts between Him and the world, or worse still, between Him and sin? There is nothing to prevent us from loving creatures as well as God, but they should be loved in God and for God. They should form a ladder which enables us to climb towards God. Every disproportionate affection, whether in regard to ourselves or to others, is an injury to God. If we really belong entirely to God, we should be at peace. Since virtue is difficult, it is difficult to belong completely to God, but the effort gives us a foretaste of the happiness of Heaven. If we really love God, nothing is difficult, but everything seems simple and pleasant. Perfect union with God will give us the pure joy which the Saints experienced. Rob Kenney’s painful past and his own search for God has enabled him to help others with absent parents.
Rob Kenney’s dad abandoned him and his seven siblings when he was just 14 years old. At a time when he was on the path to young adulthood, he had no father to guide him on the way. In an interview with Shattered Magazine, Kenney not only explains his heartbreaking experience as a young boy, but how seeking out God when his own marriage was in difficulty enabled him to forgive his dad just before his dad died in his 80s.
A few years ago, with a wife of 29 years and two successful adult children — Kristine, who works with kids, and Kyle, a software engineer — Kenney decided to pay it forward, as he explained:
My goal in life was to raise good adults — not good children, but good adults.”
The fact that his kids had both grown up and left the house left him thinking how he might help others. The period of quarantine during the Covid-19 pandemic turned out to be a perfect time for him to finally share some basic essentials for kids who might be growing up in difficult circumstances — maybe because they’d lost a parent or had parents who were absent.
So the devoted dad set up a heart-warming YouTube channel called “Dad, How Do I?” — a channel that shares essential skills, from tying a perfect tie knot to the less glamorous, unclogging a sink.
I want it to be about everyday tasks, but I also would like to pass along some of the wisdom I’ve learned along the way to encourage people. I thought I was just going to be showing people how to do stuff, but it’s kind of resonating on a whole different level.”
A growing audience
Rob’s positive practical tips have really touched his audience, which is growing by the day. With 4.6 million subscribers, Kenney is getting to share his “practical ‘dadvice’ for everyday tasks” with more people than he expected. The amateur DIY dad is overwhelmed by the response and released a “thank you” video that has to date notched up 1.9 million views, in which he explains how emotional he feels by the positive response he’s received.
Kenney’s message of thanks is delightful: He doesn’t assume his tips are the best, and he’s aware of the many other sources online. He also recognizes his own failings as a father, and the importance of seeking forgiveness. And before ending on a corny dad joke, he expresses the need to just be kind to each other.
Rob Kenney has proved to be just what the internet needs — a positive, practical and caring dad who wants to share his skills. It’s no surprise that he’s garnered so many subscribers, fans, and positive messages in return.
The incredible success of Rob Kenney’s videos demonstrates the need for a positive father figure in a child’s life, and now millions of kids who’ve not had that experience can benefit from this thoughtful, kind and good-humored dad.
Salme 128
inne i ditt hus.
Dine sønner er som oliventrær *
omkring ditt bord.
fred over Israel.
og i all evighet. Amen.
Ant. 3 Gud har beseiret dine fiender for deg.
Salme 129
Herrens velsignelse være over dere.
Vi velsigner dere *
i Herrens navn.
og i all evighet. Amen.

Kort lesning
Hebr 12, lb2

BAMBINO GESU HOSPITAL

In its 2026 ranking of pediatric hospitals worldwide, the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital ranked sixth overall and first in Europe out of the 250 top-ranked.
Newsweek has named the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital of Rome, which belongs to the Holy See, as sixth on its list of the world’s best pediatric hospitals in 2026. Its oncology department is mentioned for its “standout treatment.”
Besides being the sixth on the list, the hospital is the highest-ranking pediatric hospital in Europe. The highest-ranked overall is the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, Canada; ranks two through five are held by hospitals in the United States.
In a press release, Tiziano Onesti, the institution’s president, said that “it’s a recognition that is born from the daily teamwork of the entire Hospital community.” He mentions its many members—from doctors and nurses to volunteers and religious personnel—who take care of the patients and their families, and he thanks them for their daily work which they carry out “with competence, passion, and a sense of responsibility.”

At the same time, he considers this high ranking not as a final goal they have reached, but as “a stimulus to do even better, strengthening our commitment to ever-more-advanced care” offered to all with attention to each person.
International renown
Bambino Gesù (“Child Jesus”) Pediatric Hospital caught world-wide attention when it offered to care for Charlie Gard (2017) and later for Alfie Evans (2018), children who were being refused treatment in Great Britain for their incurable diseases. In both cases the British government ruled that their life-sustaining treatment be withdrawn, against the wishes of the parents. Sadly, in neither case was Bambino Gesù allowed to help them.
BAMBINO GESU

In 2020, the hospital was again in the spotlight when doctors there successfully separated conjoined twins Ervina and Prefina, who are from the Central African Republic. The girls were born with “total posterior craniopagus,” sharing not only a large number of blood vessels, but a conjoined skull.
Relationship with the Vatican
The Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital was founded in 1869 by Duchess Arabella Fitz James Salviati with the support of her family. In fact, her young children gave her the contents of their own moneybox to help create the hospital. At the start, it was managed by the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul. By 1907, it had received 1,000 patients, and had moved into a section of a 15th-century building which had belonged to the convent of Sant’Onofrio.
In 1903, Duchess Arabella passed away. The family operated the hospital until 1924, when they donated it to Pope Pius XI. The hospital continued to grow and thrive, thanks to funding from international donors, many from the United States.
During World War II, despite Nazi occupation, it continued to function, and even helped hide Jews from persecution, disguising them as staff and patients.
While still belonging to the Holy See, it was integrated into the national healthcare system of Italy in 1978 and recognized as a research hospital and treatment institute in 1985.
Since it was entrusted to the Holy See, most pontiffs have visited the hospital at least once, and some multiple times. The story is told that John XXIII once visited wearing a red cloak lined with white fur, once typical of the popes, and one of the children mistook him for Santa Claus…

Pope Francis visited the hospital on the 100th anniversary of its foundation. During his address to the managers and staff, he thanked them for their history of generosity in giving, of excellence in offering care—particularly its special attention to “the frailest, such as patients affected with serious, rare or ultra-rare diseases”—and to its strong community spirit and teamwork.
Newsweek’s list
Newsweek and Statista’s “World’s Best Specialized Hospitals 2026 ranking” recognizes “the leading hospitals worldwide in 12 medical fields.” These fields include pediatrics, alongside cardiac surgery, neurology, oncology, and other important areas of treatment.
The institutions are chosen based on three “data pillars”: an international online survey of health care professionals and hospital managers, accreditation data (including certifications and accreditations), and the PROMS (Patient Reported Outcome Measures) implementation survey. The greatest weight in final scoring is given to the first pillar. Medical institutions from over 30 countries are on the lists.
Based on these criteria, the Bambino Gesù Pediatric Hospital was ranked sixth out of the top 250 pediatric hospitals and first in Europe, but the hospital’s president doesn’t view it as a competition where they need to beat the rest. What matters most is taking care of children. “We will continue to commit ourselves to sharing experiences and knowledge in the ambit of the national health system and with the international community,” Onesti says, “to offer all the little patients the best care possible.”
